ST. LOUIS – St. Louis city officials will conduct a planned tornado siren test at 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to fire chief Dennis Jenkerson.

The test could consist of several sirens and parts and could last around 20 minutes on Tuesday, according to Jenkerson.

The test comes one day after Mayor Cara Spencer said “human error” factored into sirens not going off during Friday’s severe storms, which included a tornado. Five people died form injuries in the storms.

This is a developing story. FOX 2 will update a smore information becomes available.
