ST. LOUIS – In collaboration, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) and the FBI seized as many as 60 guns in several locations across St. Louis.
The police department shared the announcement yesterday on social media, emphasizing its task to fight against violent crime.
SLMPD and FBI St. Louis say the guns were found while investigating various carjackings.
According to SLMPD, they were able to obtain the firearms after successfully executing search warrants in multiple areas.
“We are working hand-in-hand with our federal partners to fight violent crime,” SLMPD concluded.
