ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A noteworthy attraction for many, the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House is receiving national attention.
USA TODAY announced that the Butterfly House was nominated for “Best Butterfly Garden” in the United States.
According to USA TODAY, a panel of experts and editors created a list, which consisted of butterfly gardens across the country.
In response to this acknowledgement from USA TODAY, the Butterfly House expressed pride.
“The Butterfly House is proud of the hard work, dedication and passion our staff and volunteers contribute each day to create an immersive and educational experience for visitors young and old,” the organization shared. “We are thrilled to have these efforts recognized on a national scale.”
The Butterfly House first opened its doors on Sept. 18, 1998, becoming a popular spot for many in the St. Louis area.
