MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. — Special Olympics Missouri is gearing up for their 19th annual Maryland Heights Polar Plunge on Saturday.
Over 400 attendees are signed up to brave the cold and take the plunge, all for a great cause at Creve Coeur Lake. For those that wish to support without facing the icy waters, the Polar Strut walk and run is also available.
The Maryland Heights Police Department and Hazelwood Police Department are hosting Saturday’s polar plunge as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Missouri.
There’s still time to sign up and support at the Special Olympics Missouri website.
