ST. LOUIS – A jury has convicted a St. Louis man who targeted several fast-food restaurants in a robbery spree.

Kammeron Davis, 33, was linked to robberies at three fast-food restaurants and an attempted robbery at another restaurant in September 2020.

Davis was found guilty of seven charges Wednesday in federal court, including three counts of robbery, one count of attempted robbery and three counts of brandishing a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence.

Investigators say the spree led to robberies and attempted robberies at four restaurants between St. Louis City and St. Louis County from Sept. 13 to Sept. 20, 2020.

The spree included the following restaurants…

A Penn Station in St. Louis City

A Subway restaurant in Maplewood

Two separate Subways restaurants in St. Louis City

Evidence and testimony presented at the trial revealed that Davis pointed guns at employees, leaped over counters, and stole money from cash registers during the robberies. Authorities say all of the robberies were caught on camera, as was a car he used to drive away.

Davis is scheduled to be sentenced on his federal charges in October and faces a mandatory term of 21 years in prison for the firearm charges, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Investigators say that Davis previously pleaded guilty in the St. Louis County Circuit Court in 2011 to first-degree robbery and armed criminal action after robbing a Penn Station restaurant. He was sentenced to 10 years behind bars in that case.
