Droege had worked out of his home office, Bob’s Tax Service, in the 6500 block of Morganford Road in the city’s Holly Hills neighborhood.

Reportedly, he prepared returns for clients with false information regarding medical expenses, charitable contributions, personal property rental expenses, and other deductions. Allegedly, Droege had caused a total loss to the Internal Revenue Service of an estimated $2.5 million.

A U.S. District judge sentenced Droege to 46 months in prison.
