ST. LOUIS – 103 was our high Tuesday, a new record. It was the warmest temperature since we hit 104 on August 25, 2023.

We are not done with the storms just yet. A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for counties west of metro St. Louis. Storms dropping out of northwest Missouri have a history of damaging wind gusts, although there are signs they are beginning to weaken.

Scattered storms will continue through 8 a.m., with the chance of spot showers hanging around until noon. The skies will gradually clear Wednesday afternoon. Highs in the mid-80s.

Clear and more comfortable overnight into Thursday. Wake-up temperatures tomorrow will be in the 60s. Sunny and highs in the upper 80s Thursday.

Hotter temperatures return Friday and Saturday, but the heat is not as intense. Thunderstorms on Saturday are expected to cool us down a bit for Sunday.
