ST. LOUIS- A large tree toppled onto a building in the Central West End following Friday’s storm that impacted the St. Louis area and beyond.
FOX 2 is covering the weather’s impact, and viewers have shared the devastation of this event.
In St. Louis, in one neighborhood, debris has scattered, possibly damaging cars and buildings in the area. Residents told FOX 2 that they are shaken following the aftermath of the storm.
“All of the sudden, I start hearing the building being torn off,” so I ran downstairs and grabbed the dog,” one resident told FOX 2. “Until the noise stopped, I had no idea it was going to be like this when I came outside.”
First responders are out at the scene, attempting to clean up the debris. But despite the damage, officials told FOX 2 there were no injuries.
