ST. LOUIS– The Missouri History Museum in Forest Park and the Library and Research Center will remain closed on Monday, May 20, due to continued cleanup following Friday’s tornadoes. Both buildings have roof damage. The Library and Research Center was hit especially hard, with blown-out windows in the Reading Room.
This comes as part of broader recovery efforts across St. Louis. The tornado outbreak caused widespread damage, including downed trees, power outages, and debris across several neighborhoods.
As part of the cleanup efforts in Forest Park, the Twilight Thursday Concert originally scheduled for this week has been moved to Thursday, May 29.
