ST. LOUIS — A shooting led to a crash near Union Boulevard last night, resulting in the arrest of two men involved in the incident.

Police responded to reports of a crash near Natural Bridge and Marcus around 5 p.m., where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was conscious and breathing at the scene.

The incident began with an argument between two men in a parking lot on Union off Lexington Avenue. The argument escalated when one of the men pulled a gun and opened fire.

After being shot, the victim attempted to drive away but crashed nearby. Both men were later arrested, each claiming the other started the dispute.

Investigators recovered a gun and ballistic evidence at the scene. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the exact circumstances that led to the shooting and subsequent crash.
