ST. LOUIS – Two women are wanted in connection to a shooting that left two people—including a minor—injured in late May.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) said it is searching for Grabriel Williams, 25, and Deja Johnson, 23, for their involvement in a shooting that happened on May 27 in Old North St. Louis, which was believed to be an altercation between a group of women.
Investigators said that when the altercation escalated near 20th and Florissant, shots were fired, striking two individuals who had no relation to either party.
First responders reported that a 30-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy were shot. The woman sustained a gunshot to her leg, whereas the boy suffered a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
Both victims were taken to the hospital and were listed in stable condition, according to SLMPD.
With victims recovering, police are trying to find those who were involved in the double shooting.
Police say that Williams and Johnson are considered armed and dangerous, and if anyone sees them, they should contact 911.
The police are also searching for two vehicles that were at the scene during the shooting. One of the vehicles (a truck) has a Missouri plate, saying “OYJ-J42.”
