ILLINOIS – Check your old lottery tickets! There are four Illinois Lottery prizes worth at least $1 million, including one valued at $10 million, that are currently unclaimed.

According to Illinois Lottery, the unclaimed prizes include two Lotto drawings, one Lucky Day Lotto drawing, and one Powerball drawing, all of which have been winners since July.

Among those prizes:

  • A $10.4 million prize is unclaimed from a “Lotto” drawing on Feb. 8, 2025. The winning ticket was sold Des Plaines, Illinois.
  • A $1 million prize is unclaimed from a “Powerball” drawing on Dec. 21, 2024. The winning ticket was sold in Melrose Park, Illinois.
  • A $1 million prize is unclaimed from a “Lucky Day Lotto” drawing on Sept. 8, 2024. The winning ticket was sold in Chicago, Illinois.
  • A $1 million prize is unclaimed from a “Lotto” drawing on July 6, 2024, The winning ticket was sold in Chicago, Illinois.

Winning these prizes is no easy feat. According to Lotto.net, the million-dollar Lucky Day Lotto jackpot only hits for about one in every 1.2 million players, while the million-dollar jackpot for Lotto only hits for about one in every 16 million players.

Illinois Lottery says winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prizes, or else the prize will expire.

Illinois Lottery also reports of at least three other unclaimed lottery prizes worth $100,000, including one that will expire next month if unclaimed.
