ST. LOUIS – The city’s Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 19-year-old who went missing 11 days ago.
According to Evita Caldwell, a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman, Shawn Koch was reported missing on March 30.
Investigators learned Koch was with his mother the day before at the Lowe’s store on Loughborough when he left the store without her.
His mother told police he’d never gone more than a couple hours without calling her.
Caldwell said detectives have checked leads into Koch’s disappearance, but none have shed any light on his whereabouts.
Police describe Koch as a white male, 5’7” tall, weighing 130 pounds, and with a slender build. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, a cream-colored True Religion zip-up hoodie, blue jeans with a silver studded belt, and Nike shoes. He has tattoos on his neck and arm.
Anyone with a tip or information on Koch’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or 314-444-5504.
