ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Three people, two of them children, were hospitalized early Wednesday morning following a fire at a mobile home park.
The fire happened at the Sunnydale Mobile Home Park just off Zumbehl Road.
Firefighters from Central County Fire and Rescue arrived in the 200 block of Pinedale Drive to find the home fully engulfed.
A spokesperson for the St. Charles County Ambulance District said one of the children has life-threatening injuries. The other victims’ injuries were not life-threatening.
The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
In the meantime, fire officials stress that people should make sure they have working fire alarms in their homes at all times.
