SHILOH, Ill. – A Shiloh, Illinois, woman was arrested early Saturday morning for attempted murder of her boyfriend after stabbing him in the chest.

According to the Shiloh Police Department, Marnequa T. Allen, 22, stabbed her boyfriend while at her residence in the 2600 block of Sierra Drive. Police arrived at the scene around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.


Suspect in custody after pursuit ends in St. Peters: Police

After police and EMS arrived, the victim was taken to a local hospital and remains in critical condition. Allen was arrested and taken into custody of the St. Clair County jail.

Allen was charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated domestic battery.
