OSAGE BEACH, Mo. – A massive $350 million family resort and entertainment district planned for the Lake of the Ozarks region is now targeting a 2026 grand opening, two years later than originally expected.

The Oasis at Lakeport was first proposed as a high-scale resort in 2022 and framework for it was approved the following year. It was once expected to open in the summer 2024, but timeline delays, including a lengthy property acquisition process, have pushed that target date back.

Current plans call for an amusement park, hotels and restaurants, in addition to an amphitheater, marina and boardwalk. The project site sits just off of Highway 54 and Jeffries Road in Osage Beach.

SkyView Partners, the St. Louis-based managing partner behind the project, tells FOX 2 that the Oasis Amusement Park is now scheduled to open in the summer of 2026. The second phases, which include the Oasis Indoor Waterpark and the Marriott Resort and Conference Center, is expected to open in early 2027.

A key factor in the delayed opening was securing ownership of more than 2,400 deeded weeks from the adjacent Lakewood Resort Timeshares. That process took nearly a year longer than expected, according to Skyview Partners. With that deal now finalized and the former complex now demolished, major site work is set to resume in June.

In preparation of the resort, SkyView Partners announced a partnership last week with Napoli Bros, a regional pizza and pasta restaurant group. A new 4,755-square-foot Napoli Bros. restaurant is expected to open alongside the amusement park.

Once complete, the Oasis at Lakeport is expected to generate around 500 jobs and draw more than half a million visitors to the Lake of the Ozarks region each year, according to state projections.
