MILLSTADT, Ill. – Showcasing his mullet named after actor Patrick Swayze, a four-year-old from southern Illinois will compete in the National Mullet Competition this month.

Bohdi Fischer and his mullet, “The Swayze Special,” will compete in the 1-4 age group while strutting the “business-in-the-front, party-in-the-back” hairstyle.

The National Mullet Competition will also collect donations that benefit Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors. The charity is dedicated to providing veterans wounded in combat with accessible, mortgage-free and injury-specific homes.

The first round of voting for the National Mullet Competition ends tomorrow. To vote for Bodhie, visit his website, mulletchamp.com

After the first round, starting on July 24, a second round of voting will begin, and the final round of voting will commence on August 14. A winner for the National Mullet Competition will be announced on August 28.
