ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – The St. Louis County Police announced that they have identified the victim who was killed in a hit-and-run incident back on March 27.
Police say Harold Adams, an 81-year-old pedestrian, was killed when a vehicle hit him in the 9200 block of South Broadway Avenue at Horn Avenue.
Officials were alerted to the incident just before 3:15 a.m. Adams was taken to a hospital for treatment but died from his injuries.
St. Louis County Police say that the driver who struck Adams stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the detectives.
An investigation into the event remains ongoing, and St. Louis County Police will release more information when it becomes available.
