JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Dozens of protestors gathered outside the Missouri Capitol midday Wednesday in opposition of U.S. President Donald Trump.

The demonstration appears to be part of a national movement described as “50 protests, 50 states, One day,” in which groups are protesting against Trump at state capitols and other U.S. cities.

According to the Associated Press, the movement has organized under the hashtags #buildtheresistance and #50501, protesting actions, policies, and messages from Trump’s first two-plus weeks of his second presidential term.

Protestors outside the Missouri Capitol were seen holding signs such as “Resistance is Never Futile,” “We The People Reject Project 2025,” and “This Musk Stop.”

It’s believed around 50-100 people were at the Capitol early Wednesday afternoon.
