ST. LOUIS – On Friday, a St. Louis Circuit Court judge filed arrest warrants for two men accused of holding someone up at gunpoint, stealing their cellphone, and forcing the victim to strip.
According to probable cause statements filed by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the robbery took place on March 29 in the 800 block of Lebanon Drive, located in the LaSalle Park neighborhood.
Police said the victim was walking from his home at an apartment complex when three men approached. One of the men, Isaiah Anderson, 19, pointed an AR-style rifle at the victim and ordered him to hand over everything he had. The victim gave the three men his phone.
After turning over his phone, the suspects demanded the unlock code for the phone and threatened to kill the victim if he gave them a fake code.
The trio led the victim to a nearby parking lot and ordered him to undress. Police said one of the other suspects, identified as Marcus Anderson, 20, struck the victim in the face.
Police said investigators located surveillance video from a nearby gas station and used that to help them identify the robbery suspects.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney’s Office charged both men with first-degree robbery, first-degree kidnapping, and two counts of armed criminal action.
