ST. LOUIS – Texas-based Avelo Airlines has stopped serving the St. Louis area by ending it’s route with St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
The twice-weekly nonstop Avelo flights between Lambert and New Haven, Connecticut, have ended. This was the only route the airline ran from Lambert.
The last Avelo flight was Jan. 5.
Avelo Communications Manager Courtney Goff said the route “did not meet our expectations with demand and operations.”
Goff said the airline hopes to work with Lambert in the future on possibly adding other routes with more demand.
