Backups on I-70 westbound in St. Louis after apparent pursuit

ST. LOUIS – There are traffic backups on westbound Interstate 70 in St. Louis as authorities work to clear the scene of an apparent pursuit.

The main backups are at I-70 and Adelaide Avenue. It’s believed a pursuit ended in that area and may have stemmed from a carjacking.

Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible as police work to clear the scene.
