ST. LOUIS – Lambert Airport saw 2.05” of rain from the remnants of what was once Hurricane Beryl on Tuesday. That officially puts us at 6.71” of rain for July, 4.83” above normal.
The remains of Beryl continues to pull away from the region on Wednesday morning. Watch for some fog Wednesday morning. Otherwise, clearing skies and highs in the mid-80s.
There will be some energy in the upper atmosphere on the backside of our departing storm, so we might see some isolated storms Wednesday afternoon and evening, mainly north of I-70.
Thursday will bring another chance of scattered afternoon showers and storms, with highs in the upper 80s.
Quiet and hot for Friday; highs back near 90. The weekend and early next week will be hot! We’ll watch for spot afternoon storms again Saturday.
