ST. LOUIS – It will be a hot and muggy start to the week.
Highs Monday and Tuesday will be in the mid- to upper 90s, with peak afternoon heat index values above 100.
Out the door temps again Tuesday will have only cooled down into the upper 70s.
A cold front will come through the area on Tuesday, but it isn’t expected to bring any rain.
Moisture will be tied up with Hurricane Debby over the southeastern U.S. so the front comes through dry. The front will cool us down.
Highs Wednesday through Sunday will be in the mid-80s, with morning lows in the 60s. No rain is in the forecast.
