ST. LOUIS – If you park outside, your car may have a little powder sugar coating on it after some very light snow fell briefly overnight. Shoulders and some roadways even have a little coating. Skies are now clearing.
Bitter cold to start Tuesday. Temperatures have fallen into the single digits and winds chills are dropping to around -5 to -10 behind the departing light snow.
Sunny Tuesday, yes, but we’ll only see afternoon top temps in the low to mid 10s. A south wind kicks in Tuesday night and we’ll start to crawl out of the deep freeze. In fact, after dipping this evening into the single digits, temperatures should actually warm towards daybreak.
Highs Wednesday through Friday are back in the 30s and we’re looking at 40s for the weekend. Watching for a slight chance at some light snow again Wednesday night into Thursday and some rain early Sunday.
