ST. LOUIS — The Enterprise Center seems to always be busy.
This weekend it’s the Frozen Four featuring Boston, Denver, Penn State and Western Michigan for a third time dating back to 1975. In a couple of weeks, it seems like the NHL playoffs will be here as well.
“We’ve been putting a lot into building up the hockey community here to make ourselves the home of hockey
across the lower Midwest,” Blues owner Tom Stillman said.
The arena also just hosted the men’s Missouri Valley Championship for the 30th year in a row. Next year, first and second round games will be coming to Enterprise. Stillman has sights set on hosting an elite eight matchup.
“It would be great to have a basketball regional,” Stillman said. “We have gotten a few times, first round game. If we could move up that food chain, that would be fun.”
2026 will also see the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at Enterprise Center.
“I think the figure skating trials are a huge deal because it’s not just the championship,” Stillman explained. “Those serve as the
qualification on the Olympic team so that is a great event and a really big get.”
