ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A body was pulled from the Meramec River Tuesday afternoon in the Fenton area.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol spokesperson, the St. Louis County Police Department advised Troop C of a body floating in the river. The MSHP’s Water Patrol Division was notified and recovered the body.
The St. Louis County Medical Examiner was notified to take possession of the body for an autopsy.
There’s been no word on the identity of the deceased individual.
