DE SOTO, Mo. – A boil order has been issued for some residents in De Soto, Missouri.

The City of De Soto shared a map on Tuesday informing community members of an ongoing boil order.

Boil order is in effect for people within the red boundaries. Provided by: City of De Soto.

The boil order will be in effect through at least Wednesday. It is in effect for some residents who live along Amvets Drive and Vineland School Road, in addition to people within close proximity of De Soto High School.

During a boil order, people in the affected areas should boil all drinking and cooking water for at least three minutes before using it.

The City of De Soto says the boil order will last through at least Wednesday or until water tests have cleared protocols.
