ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A Bridgeton woman is accused of stealing $40,000 from a Breckenridge Hills bar she works at.
According to the Breckenridge Hills Police Department’s probable cause statement, the theft occurred between May 31 and June 3 at OT’s Bar, located on the 9200 block of St. Charles Rock Road.
Police said a witness saw the employee, June E. Tucker (age not provided), in possession of a bag that contained approximately $40,000 inside that was never deposited into the business’s account.
According to police, the company claimed that on June 3, Tucker took a withdrawal of $675 and cashed a $2,500 business check—transactions the company had not approved.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Tucker with one count of stealing—$25,000 or more. Tucker was issued a criminal summons to appear in court on Tuesday, Dec. 3.
