ST. LOUIS – Numerous hail reports from Sunday’s storms, with up to golf ball size hail reported in several counties. Those storms are now gone, and we get a little break in the active weather Monday, as well as a cool down.

Breezy before daybreak Monday with cloudy skies through midday. Clearing in the afternoon, highs will only be in the mid-50s. Clear skies Monday evening and overnight; temperatures will fall into the 30s.

Some sun early Tuesday, but clouds will return through the day. It gets windier Tuesday afternoon as well, with highs around 60 F. A cold front will move through the region Tuesday night and Wednesday, bringing more thunderstorms to the Bi-State region. As of this writing, the threat for storms into early Wednesday will mostly be just northwest of the St. Louis region.

A follow-up round of storms on Wednesday afternoon and evening looks to be more centered on the St. Louis region. Some could be strong to severe.

There will be a continuing chance for rounds of thunderstorms Thursday through Saturday.
