Business leaders urge St. Louis to spend Rams settlement on downtown needs

ST. LOUIS – A group of business leaders are pushing for St. Louis to spend the $250 million Rams settlement on improving downtown.

The organization “Greater St. Louis Inc.” includes a group of leaders from Enterprise Mobility, BJC Healthcare and Washington University.

The group submitted a proposal to spend $98 million to improve streets, sidewalks and other infrastructure. Another $130 million would go to neighborhoods.

There will be a hearing on September 10.
