ST. LOUIS — Early this morning, a series of burglaries struck at least five businesses in the Grove and Midtown neighborhoods of St. Louis. The affected businesses, including Eat, Duckbill, Serendipity, and Creole with a Splash of Soul, found their windows smashed.

Burglars also targeted at least two shops on Laclede Avenue in Midtown, one of which is near a St. Louis police station. Saucy Porka and Pokemunch, which just opened last Friday, were among those hit, leaving shattered glass in their wake.

So far, no suspects have been identified.
