ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Families flocked to north St. Louis County on Easter Sunday for a high-octane celebration that’s shifted gears from traditional to unforgettable. From luxury lounges to smoking tires, this event was more than bunnies and baskets.
While some spent the morning in church, others revved their engines for a different kind of celebration, as Kings Auto Repair hosted the Fourth Annual Midwest Easter Car & Bike Show at West Side Missionary Baptist Church.
From classic, vintage rides to souped-up modern cars, enthusiasts lined Dunn Road to catch the action. Families enjoyed live music, mini go-karts, horseback rides, and even a few daring donut spins in the parking lot.
And it wasn’t just about the cars. The event gave out $8,000 worth of bikes, Easter baskets, and more to local kids, showing just how much this event has grown from a simple giveaway into a full community celebration.
Samantha Robinson and her husband brought their luxury LacyJean Mobile Cigar Lounge to the event, adding a mature vibe to the festive mix.
“I mean, the cars are amazing, the people are amazing, and everybody has been welcoming and warm and everything,” she said. “And they just have been really excited about what we have to offer, and we’ve gotten a chance to look at out here and see all the amazing cars. It’s crazy.”
Organizers say they didn’t expect the event to get this big, but it’s become one of the most anticipated Easter events in the area. And whether you came for the cars, the culture, or the community, this was one Easter Sunday many won’t soon forget.
