ST. LOUIS — Citygarden’s annual winter light display is now illuminating Downtown St. Louis’ Gateway Mall through February 17, featuring thousands of warm white lights adorning sculptures and trees throughout the public space.
Four international sculptures in the garden are highlighted by the lighting: Bernar Venet’s “2 Arcs x 4” and “230.5 Degree Arc x 5,” Mark di Suvero’s “Aesops Fables,” and Mimmo Paladino’s “Zenit.” The display includes the garden’s Ginkgo Hallway and a newly upgraded LED light system at the Spray Plaza.
The installation is part of a larger series of holiday displays along Downtown’s Gateway Mall, stretching from St. Louis Union Station to Kiener Plaza. Visitors can view the lights while dining at the garden’s Terrace View restaurant, operated by Burger 809.
The free display is open to the public daily, with the Spray Plaza featuring nightly light shows.
