ST. LOUIS – We are 25 to 30 degrees colder out the door Tuesday compared to Monday, waking up in the upper 20s to low 30s.

We’ll start the day with some sun then see increasing clouds later in the afternoon, highs in the mid to upper 40s. Cloudy skies Tuesday evening and overnight, but we stay dry. Those clouds act like a blanket and keep us warmer; wake-up temperatures Wednesday will be near 40 F.

Rain will begin to squeeze out of those clouds mid-morning Wednesday and increase into the afternoon. Temperatures will be chilly, but above freezing. Highs in the mid-40s. A few snowflakes may mix in northeast of St. Louis as the rain tapers off Wednesday night.

Thanksgiving looks chilly but dry, partly cloudy with highs near 40 F. A quiet but cold Friday, sunny with highs in the mid 30s.

Saturday will be a watcher. Some light snow looks possible in the afternoon and evening. Highs will only be around 33. Sunday will be sunny but quite cold; wake-up temperatures will be in the teens, and highs are only near 30.
