ST. LOUIS – We hit 84 F on Sunday for a high temperature, only 5 degrees shy of the record. A cold front Monday will bring some clouds, a very slight chance of light rain, and a bit of a cool down.
There will be an increase in clouds on Monday, with the possibility of spot sprinkles or an isolated light shower. Temperature highs will be in the upper 60s. There will be clear skies Monday evening and overnight, leading to wake-up temperatures in the mid-40s on Tuesday.
We turn breezy on Tuesday. Areas to the northwest that didn’t see as much rain early in the month will see higher fire danger. Otherwise, sunny skies with highs in the low 60s.
The wind will die back into Tuesday evening and night. Wednesday starts clear and cool with top temperatures eventually reaching the mid-60s as clouds begin to roll in. Mostly cloudy and warmer Thursday but also a chance for rain and thunderstorms. Temperature highs will be in the 70s.
On-and-off again rain chances will linger through the upcoming Easter weekend.
