ST. LOUIS – A Missouri couple won $100,000 from a scratcher in Rolla after searching the Missouri Lottery website to decide which ticket to purchase.

Before purchasing the winning “$3 Million Supreme” scratcher ticket from a QuikTrip, located at 3551 Highway Point Drive, the couple worked together to decide which ticket to purchase by using the Missouri Lottery website.

“The website is great for helping us pick tickets,” the wife said. “We pull it up on the iPad, and we’ll go through it together to look for which ticket he wants.”

After purchasing the ticket, the woman scratched the ticket off and was left confused when she didn’t understand the results of the ticket.

“All I saw was the symbols, and I thought he won like $5,000,” she said.

To better understand their winnings from the scratcher, the couple called over their son to help add up their big win and he was left surprised by what he had seen.

“He kept saying, ‘Look at the numbers!’” she said. “My husband was going crazy, and we had to get the calculator out to figure out how much we won!”

Once the group calculated the total, the couple realized that they were one of the recipients of the $100,000 prize offered in the game.

“We were very excited!” she added.

The “$3 Million Supreme” is a $30 scratchers game that multiplies winnings up to 30 times and offers a top prize of $3 million. There is a 1 in 3.04 chance of winning a prize when playing the “$3 Million Supreme” scratchers ticket.

“$3 Million Supreme” players have won more than $21.5 million in prizes since the game was released in October. There is over $88 million remaining in unclaimed prizes, including two top prizes of $3 million and an additional $100,000 prize.
