Crews investigate odor of gas at sewer near downtown St. Louis

ST. LOUIS – Crews have been called to investigate after reports of an odor of gas coming from a sewer near downtown St. Louis.

Officials say the odor is coming from a sewer on 7th Street at Chouteau Avenue. Purina and a nearby school in the area had students and faculty evacuate due to the odor.

Spire has been called to investigate the odor.
