ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Crews are working on a large water main that broke Wednesday morning in Glendale.
The water main break occurred on the West Lockwood Avenue between North Smithington and Edwin. Missouri American Water Officials say the water main break is a pipe that is 20 or 24-inches.
Crews are on the scene and Glendale officials are asking people to avoid the area while crews try to make emergency repairs. Hough Elementary School will be dismissing students due to the break.
