Dave’s Hot Chicken specializes in hot chicken tenders and sliders, though its restaurants also serve a variety of sides, including house-made kale slaw, mac and cheese, fries and cheese fries.

“Our expansion into Missouri marks another milestone in our ambitious growth trajectory,” said Patel via the news release. “We’re aiming to open seven Dave’s Hot Chicken units in the area over the next four years. This partnership represents an exciting opportunity to bring something truly special to the St. Louis community.”

“With this expansion into St. Louis, we’re confident the local community will cherish the new spots as their hot chicken haven,” said Bill Phelps, CEO of Dave’s Hot Chicken.

Founded in 2017, Dave’s Hot Chicken initially opened as a parking lot pop-up in Los Angeles. The chain now has more than 140 locations in the United States and Canada. Well-known rapper Drake has also made big investments into the chain over the last several years.
