ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A woman who was in the process of being moved to a jail cell allegedly assaulted multiple correctional officers at the St. Ann Police Department.

According to the St. Ann Police Department, Latoya Williams, 38, allegedly assaulted the officers on March 28 after she was arrested for resisting arrest and property damage.

While she was placed in a processing area, she began fighting with the first correctional officer and struck him in the head multiple times with a phone. Williams allegedly caused a gash in his head and a concussion.

Williams had grabbed the officer’s taser during the fight and additionally bit him.
