ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – Homicide detectives with the St. Louis County Police Department are asking for the public’s help in solving a double shooting Saturday night that left one man dead.

According to Mary Schmitt, a county police spokeswoman, the shooting happened around 7:25 p.m. in the 4200 block of Bayless Avenue, between Union Road and Interstate 55.

Responding officers found two shooting victims outside one of the businesses. One victim, identified as Jalin Sanders, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was 21.

The second victim, another adult male, was taken to the hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
