East St. Louis High alumni continue community cleanup initiative

EAST ST. LOUIS – Alumni from East St. Louis High School are rolling up their sleeves and giving back to their hometown.

Today marks the fourth community cleanup as part of the ‘City Beautification Project,’ led by the class of 1983 alumni association.

Volunteers will gather at the corner of 84^th and State Streets with clean-up happening from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday.

Their goal is to restore pride in the community and encourage others to join the movement.
