CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. – An Endangered Silver Advisory has been issued Thursday morning for a 73-year-old man in Steedman.

According to the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office, Richard Lenkiewicz, 73, went missing after an incident around 8:30 a.m. on the 9100 block of Beaver Butte Court.

Police say Lenkiewicz suffers from dementia and is usually driven around by another party wherever he may need to go. However, on Thursday morning, he drove away from his home by himself. According to police, a neighbor had a conversation with Lenkiewicz Thursday morning, which has led police to believe he may possibly be traveling to a casino.

Lenkiewicz was last seen heading southbound from the area of Jeffco Boulevard and Starling Airport Road in Jefferson County. Lenkiewicz is driving a white 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with Missouri registration 89H5BL.

Lenkiewicz is described as a white man that has brown/gray hair, brown eyes, stands 6 feet tall, and weighs 235 pounds. It is unknown what he was last seen wearing, but he is known to typically wear a flannel shirt and jeans.
