ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A man was left dead after a vehicle crashes and catches fire in St. Louis County early Tuesday morning.

The single motor vehicle crash occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday in the area of Jennings Station and Jennings Crossing.

An initial investigation into the crash reveals the vehicle hit a curb and rolled once, landing upright and catching fire.

There were 3 people in the car when the crash occurred. One man was transported to an area hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the vehicle and the third passenger were uninjured.

The investigation is still ongoing.
