ST. JOHN, Mo. – There may be traffic backups for some rush-hour drivers Friday due to a fiery crash on Interstate 170.
At least one vehicle caught fire around 5 p.m. Friday near I-170 and Midland Boulevard.
Fire crews are responding to the scene. It’s unclear if anyone is hurt at this time. Two northbound lanes of I-70 are closed as crews respond to the scene.
Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible, as crews work to clear the scene.
