ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A house was destroyed after a fire in Black Jack overnight Wednesday morning.
The fire took place around 2 a.m. on Patricia Ridge Drive in Black Jack. According to fire officials, the house was up in flames by the time fire crews arrived on the scene.
According to a neighbor on the street, the house had been vacant for years and squatters and neighborhood kids were often seen going in and out of the building.
No injuries were reported from the fire, officials said.
