ST. LOUIS — We’ll continue to warm up into the weekend. Sunny skies, low humidity, and afternoon highs in the 70s Friday through Sunday. Out the door temperatures won’t be as cold either, in the 40s.
The low humidity, dry conditions, and an increase in winds each afternoon means we will have higher wildfire concerns over the next several days. Larger burns are discouraged, including the burning of crop debris. And while the threat is smaller, it is firepit and bonfire season. Please be cautious and keep an eye on flying embers.
There is a actually a chance for rain in the forecast! A weak story system that will cross the region Monday night might bring a few showers into Tuesday morning. It doesn’t look like much, but we’ll take it.
