Fort Leonard Wood searching for missing 19-year-old Marine

PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. – Fort Leonard Wood is searching for a 19-year-old Marine who went missing “without a trace,” according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department.

Kavian Elder has been missing since May 3, 2024. He was attending Fort Leonard Wood’s MOS School when he vanished, according to the sheriff’s department.

Fort Leonard Wood officials contacted his family to see if they had seen or heard from him, but they had not, and there has been no sign of him since the beginning of the month, according to the sheriff’s department.

Kavian is a black male with brown eyes. He is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
