FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office in Illinois is seeking help from the community for information regarding a hit and run over the weekend.
According to officials, a pedestrian was struck on Illinois Route 149 near Dry Road just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
The victim was flown to a trauma center out of state with significant injuries.
An individual who did not see the accident was the one to call for help. The driver did not remain at the scene or stop, officials said.
